Healing Dragons- Dragon Boat Team
Dragon boating simply put, is a boat of 20 paddlers, a drummer and a steers person paddling to cross the finish faster than their competition. It's a team sport in its purest form that encompasses the elements of power, speed, synchronization and endurance.
Our competitive race teams consist of cancer survivors, a ladies team and a mixed team of men and women, depending on the race events for the year.
We practice and compete in a dragon boat. A dragon boat is a very long and narrow canoe-style, human-powered boat with 20 paddlers, a steerer and a drummer.
Our coaching team helps to develop skill in anyone who supports our mission, has a passion for learning and is ready to have fun and enjoy the outdoors.

Bereavement Support
Recently lost a family member? Come share the pain and the joy with others in a similar situation. Meetings are held weekly on Thursdays from 6-8PM in our Resource Room at 725 Providence Road, Suite 302, Charlotte, NC 28207.
